Questions that change the reading order
Short answers, with sources.
Is Spectacular Caraval Book 4?
Macmillan labels it Caraval Volume 4, but also describes it as a holiday novella set after the Caraval series. Shelf of Worlds therefore keeps it in position 4 without presenting it as a fourth required core novel.

Do I need Spectacular to finish the main trilogy?
No. Finale completes the required three-novel order; Spectacular is optional afterward.
